Harper Power Products adds emissions control systems to portfolio

WHITBY, Ont. — Harper Power Products has expanded its portfolio with the addition of products from Global Emissions Systems (GESi), a manufacturer of emissions control technology based on Whitby, Ont.

 

Harper says GESi is a leading emissions control technology that’s able to reduce smog and greenhouse gas emissions. The company designs, develops and manufacturers what Harper feels is “the finest emissions control technology in the world.”

 

Harper Power Products will serve as the new Ontario distributor, focusing on secotrs including mining, construction and power generation for transit and municipal fleets.

 

GESi’s products include a Dry Selective Catalyst technology able to reduce up to 99% of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon and NOx emissions from fossil fuel combustion engines, the company says.

 

“The introduction of GESi, a field-proven and global leading technology is an exciting venture for the Harper organization,” said John Cosgrove, president and COO of Harper Power Products. “Over the past several years our focus has expanded to provide our customers with not only world-leading brands but also emission consultations and exhaust aftertreatment advice. Our partnership with GESi is a testament to our initiative to be environmentally conscious and to be able to provide our customers with a demonstrated technology to reduce their carbon footprint.”
