SIOUX CENTER, Iowa — Link Manufacturing has achieved an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) certificate for operations at its Iowa plant, home to production of cab suspensions, auxiliary suspensions, chassis suspensions and accessories.

The certification was awarded by SRI Quality System Registrar.

“We are pleased to acknowledge that Link Manufacturing has demonstrated the effective implementation of an environmental management system,” announced Edward Maschmeier, director, certification with SRI. “ISO 14001 certification provides evidence to customers, suppliers, employees and to nearby communities of the commitment that Link Manufacturing has to meeting its environmental responsibilities.”

The certification recognizes organizations that can demonstrate an effective environmental management system. Those who achieve the certification adopt sound environmental practices, conservation of input materials and energy, attainment of necessary permits and authorizations and the intent to maintain good community relations.
