Michelin spins off Energy Guard business, will continue to distribute
CCI Industries affiliate Trailer Aerodynamics has purchased the Energy Guard Aerodynamic Solutions portfolio from Michelin.
Michelin will continue to support the products it has in the field and will distribute them through a new distribution agreement. Energy Guard will operate independently.

“Michelin customers can expect the exact same levels of quality sales support from the Michelin sales team moving forward,” the companies said in a news release.
Long-time Michelin employee Eddie Jesse has been named leader of the new standalone business.
“Jesse’s leadership will ensure a seamless transition and continued dedication to the values and quality that have been hallmarks of the Michelin brand,” the release said. “His focus will be on advancing Energy Guard’s position within the industry, with an eye towards accelerating growth and expanding market reach through innovative, environmentally responsible solutions.”
