Titanium Transportation Group provides update on new Caledon terminal

WOODBRIDGE, Ont. – Titanium Transportation Group announced an update on its new Caledon,Ont. terminal today.

The company said that the foundation for its new head office was completed in December and that the steel structure was delivered earlier this week to the construction site. The new head office in Caledon is scheduled to be completed in 2016’s third quarter.

The company says the new facility will be 71,500 sq-ft and will accommodate Titanium’s head office operations, including an integrated warehouse, yard and third party mechanical shop.

Titanium said in a release that the advantages of the new facility include: Consolidation of the current Bolton, Burlington, Mississauga, and Woodbridge terminals and warehouses to one location resulting in significant cost savings; Built-for-purpose integrated warehouse, yard and third party mechanical shop to increase operating efficiencies; 100% increase in square footage for the fast growing Logistics division; and expanded, state-of-the-art driver lounge with training facilities, laundry and additional conveniences.

“The new Caledon terminal allows for consolidation of all four of our current operating locations and future acquisitions in the Greater Toronto Area,” said Ted Daniel, CEO of Titanium. “The new facility will also allow for significant expansion of our logistics division which experienced 150% EBITDA growth during the first nine months of 2015.”
