90 Years for HTC Boils Down to Lobster Celebration

HAMILTON, ON — Few transportation organizations can say they have been around 90 years, so when you are just 10 years shy of hitting the century mark there is only one thing to do…celebrate in style.

That’s what the Hamilton Transportation Club (HTC) plans to do on June 19 in Stoney Creek, ON, when it hosts Lobsterfest, but beef is on the menu, too.

The event at Liuna Gardens gets underway at 5 p.m. with cocktails and dinner seating beginning at 7 p.m. by the lake.

The HTC is a non-profit organization that relies on its members and sponsors for charity drives to support  hospitals, colleges and universities in the Hamilton area.

The club represents all four major transportation modes – trucking, rail, port and air — and consists of key players from all four.

It has over 200 members from all parts of the area’s supply chain, including the City of Hamilton, domestic and international railways, cartage companies, transport companies, air lines, brokers, insurance companies and financial institutions.
