A silver special for Canada

Hino Diesel Trucks is celebrating its silver anniversary in Canada by displaying the first of 25 Anniversary FX Limited Edition trucks at Truck World 2000 in Toronto.

The silver-painted, automatic transmission trucks, are equipped with an air seat, AM/FM stereo CD player, remote heated power mirrors, chrome wheel covers, and air conditioning.
The special trucks will also include a deluxe dress up kit with stainless trim accessories for the grill, side marker lights, an under-bumper spoiler, and sun visor.

The medium-class truck maker has also announced a series of new products that will be
available later this year.
Hino is reintroducing a new and improved Class 4 FA-first showcased at Montreal’s ExpoCam last fall-which includes a collapsible steering wheel column and higher-output 105-amp brushless alternator.

The company also announced a new Eaton Fuller RT8709 nine-speed transmission and proprietary 252-hp, J-series engine for Hino’s SG3325 model.
The RT8709 is an upgrade from the RT8609, which was used for Hino’s city tractor, and comes with improved shifting linkage and air assisted clutch.
