AC tester from SPX Canada
SPX Canada
Described as a “Master AC Technician in the palm of your hand,” a new tester developed jointly by SPX Robinair and Neutronics (part number 16800) provides a simple, yet specific method of pinpointing vehicle air conditioning system faults. The hand-held tester contains a data bank of thousands of pieces of data covering various failure modes. Receiving data from the vehicle being serviced through two simple connections, the tool automatically determines and reveals which AC system failures are most likely. The tool is set up to guide the technician through the steps necessary to acquire data needed to confirm the diagnosis. It’s capable of diagnosing condenser, compressor, refrigerant charge, clutch cycling or evaporator failure, as well as revealing AC system line restrictions. The technician can print out a detailed record of the logged data.
