WASHINGTON, D.C. — Changes to the truck manifest in-bond programming are scheduled for implementation April 5. The changes to ACE EDI truck manifest will expand the capability of ACE participants to arrive in-bond at destination by container/equipment, export in-bonds that have previously arrived by in-bond bills of lading and container/equipment, and to cancel in-bond arrivals and exports, according to Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association. This capability will be limited to EDI users. ACE Portal users are not affected by the new capability, the report said.
