Addressing the challenges of western transportation

TORONTO, Ont. — Capacity shortages, rising rates and intermodal congestion are causing headaches for those shipping to Canada’s Western provinces. Realistically, what can be done to address these issues?<br>

That will be the focus of a panel discussion at the upcoming SCL conference, led by Transportation Media editorial director Lou Smyrlis and including James Zacharius, VP Revenue,TransX, Trevor Fridfinnson, Director of Operations, Bison Transport; and Dan Gabbard, Director of Transportation, Maple Leaf Foods.<br>

The session starts at 10:50 a.m. on Thursday May 12 at the Toronto Congress Centre and is part of Supply Chain and Logistics Canada’s 3-day conference, to be held in Toronto, May 10-12. The conference will bring together some of the industry’s most experienced professionals to address a broad spectrum of supply chain issues.<br>
