Air ratchet is a snap
Snap-on
The most powerful 3/8-inch drive air ratchet that Snap-on has ever produced is now available in Canada, the company announced.
The new FAR7200 is designed for speed, power, user comfort and durability in daily use and a wide variety of applications. It features a new motor design with all ball-bearing construction, and a three-gear, high-strength planetary gear reduction system.
The FAR7200 also has a new drive body design that increases the strength of the square drive, and patented Lock Stop Pins that prevent pawl lock-up.
The three-pound FAR7200 also delivers on power. It features Snap-on’s patent-pending Power Boost Muffler Bypass System that maximizes tool air power performance. The tool can be used in open or quiet mode. In quiet mode, the FAR7200 provides 5-50 feet pounds of torque and 200 rpm. Maximum power is provided in open (muffler bypass) mode, with the FAR7200 producing 5-70 feet pounds of torque and 260 rpm.
Ergonomically designed and built to reduce hand and wrist strain injuries, the cushion-grip handle is made of a soft, chemical-resistant “Alcyrn elastomer” that insulates against temperature variations, and reduces vibration, the company says.
