Alberta carriers invited to recruit drivers at Career Fair

EDMONTON, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) and its carriers will have the opportunity to participate in Canada Career Week Fair, Albertas biggest career information fair.

The event takes place Nov. 16-17 (9 a.m.-5p.m. and 10 a.m.-5p.m. respectively) at the Northlands Sportex Edmonton. The AMTA will be exhibiting at the event and invites its member carriers to get involved by helping work the booth. In turn, carriers will be able to promote their companies and distribute their own material. Job boards will also be available on-site, allowing companies to post openings at the event itself using 4×5 index cards.

More than 7,500 people attended last years career fair which featured more than 170 exhibits. To get involved, Alberta carriers should e-mail amtamsc@amta.ca.
