Alberta health and safety conference ready to kick off

EDMONTON, Alta. — The Health and Safety Conference Society of Alberta (HSCSA) is holding a safety conference and trade fair in Edmonton this week.

The conference kicks off Nov. 19 and runs through Nov. 21 and is being held at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Centre in Edmonton.

Clint Dunford, Minister of Human Resources and Employment, and Chris Johnson, a popular public speaker, will be featured as keynote speakers. They will address Changing Directions for Health and Safety and Restoring Humor and Humanity to the Workplace, respectively.

There will also be more than 30 educational sessions covering a variety of health and safety topics as well as 60 exhibitors. Professional development workshops are being offered to health and safety professionals wishing to upgrade their qualifications.
