BELLEVUE, Wash. — Edmonton Kenworth PacLease has been selected as the top Kenworth dealership in North America. The dealership was chosen as part of Paccar Leasing Company’s North American Franchise of the Year Awards.

The awards recognize the top Peterbilt and Kenworth PacLease locations for success in sales and for the effort employees put forth to deliver products and services that meet and exceed customer needs. Peterbilt PacLease of Las Vegas earned top spot for Peterbilt dealerships at the same awards ceremony.

“As a PacLease franchise it is of paramount importance that we hold ourselves to a higher standard commensurate with the industry leading quality of the Kenworth and Paccar brands,” said Jim Callaway, general manager of Edmonton Kenworth PacLease. “2009 was a challenging year for everyone and we were able to make it successful through the diligent efforts of our employees.”

“It’s clear that these locations and their employees deserve this recognition for their dedication to serving the needs of our customers. Franchise of the Year award winners consistently display outstanding quality throughout their enterprises,” said PacLease president Bob Southern. “Award criteria was based on the PacLease Standards of Excellence program. The standards evaluate PacLease locations in key functional business areas based on quality performance.”

Another Canadian dealership, Great West Truck Lease and Rentals of Calgary, Alta., was named a regional franchise award winner at the same ceremony.
