Alberta truck driving championships scheduled

RED DEER, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association’s (AMTA’s) provincial Truck Roadeo has been slated for June 18 in Red Deer, Alta.

The competition will pit some of the province’s best drivers against each other in a series of driving competitions. It will be held at the Westerner Centre with an awards banquet to be held that evening at the Black Knight Inn. Rooms are available for the special price of $80, but the block will only be held until May 17.
