Alleged trucker killer to go on trial next week

WHITBY, Ont. — A man accused of killing professional driver Donald Woods and stealing his load of chicken in June, 2006 will go on trial next week, according to local media.

 

Paul Cyr, 52, of Montreal has plead not guilty to the first-degree murder of the Brockville trucker, whose body was found in his rig in Pickering.

 

The trial is set to begin May 19, according to a report in NewsDurhamRegion.com.
