Altruck International to Kickstart New Outlet

BURLINGTON, ON — One of Ontario’s leading International dealers is throwing a party next week to celebrate the opening of their newest location.

Altruck International Truck Centre, which has been serving the industry since 1977, opened a new branch in Burlington this month and they’re hosting a ribbon-cutting party on-site on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Burlington branch is yet another sign of the steady growth Altruck has seen since founder Jack Kirby purchased his first dealership in Kitchener, ON, after 21 years with International Harvester.

These days, the company is run by brothers Jeff and Ryan Kirby, who grew up in the business and formed a partnership in 1994 to take the reins.

Altruck now has locations in Kitchener, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, Burlington, Goderich and Stratford where they have 230 employees. Altruck also runs leasing operations in Guelph and Kitchener.

The new Altruck location is situated at 5280 South Service Road in Burlington.
