CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) is once again hosting its annual draw down dinners in Calgary and Edmonton.

The Calgary dinner will take place March 25 with the Edmonton draw occurring April 1. Last year, 600 people attended the Calgary draw with more than 700 participating in the Edmonton event.

The draws feature "food food, entertainment and a computerized draw to determine winners of a variety of sponsored gifts and cash," according to an AMTA newsletter.

Entertainment will be provided by comedian Brent Butt, who is known for his performances across Canada. He has been featured on A&E, CBC, Global-TV and The Comedy Channel. He has also performed at the world’s largest international comedy festival, Montreal’s Just for Laughs.

Tickets for the draw down dinners are $89 plus GST. To order, visit http://www.amta.ca/trxformC.html
