BALZAC, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) and Alberta Inspection Services are once again teaming up to provide breakfast for truck drivers at the Balzac scales.

Breakfast will be served Aug. 4 beginning at 9 a.m.

They will also take the opportunity to educate drivers about common cargo securement violations. There will be a couple of rigs on display, demonstrating some inherent problems commonly encountered by inspection officers.

Fleet managers and other interested parties are also invited to attend. The AMTA and Inspection Services have made their scalehouse breakfast an annual event. Each year, in addition to providing breakfast to drivers, they also take the opportunity to cover an educational topic of interest.
