CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) has appointed Alex Hauszner as its new executive director.

Hauszner brings 27 years of experience with Air Canada to the table, including 13 years of management experience. He moved from Winnipeg to Calgary in 2000 and has been working as general manager of station operations at Calgary International Airport.

He replaces Kim Royal, who was released by the association in January after filling the position for about three years. Hauszner can be reached by phone at 403-214-3434 or by e-mail at ahauszner@amta.ca.
