CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) has changed the date of its annual conference to coincide with the association’s annual general meeting.

The two events will be held at the Rimrock Hotel in Banff Apr. 30-May 2. Originally, the conference was to be held this fall in Calgary at the same time as Truxpo, but that event was postponed this year.

The AMTA will also be hosting annual banquets in November. The first one will take place Nov. 14 at the MacDonald Hotel in Edmonton. Next year, Calgary will host the annual banquet.

In order to participate in the planning of these events, contact the AMTA at 800-267-1003 or e-mail amtamail@amta.ca. Committees will be formed later this year.
