EDMONTON, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) will be hosting three seminars on "How to survive a DOT audit."

Kris Phillips, administrator of the Montana division of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, will be the presenter. The course will deal with the latest U.S. compliance and regulatory issues while reviewing U.S. DOT audit requirements.

The timing of the seminars is key, since a number of changes to U.S. motor carrier legislation have recently been made.

The Edmonton seminar will be held Mar. 14 at the Mayfield Inn. To register, contact Donna at 780-448-7456 or e-mail her at donnak1@amta.ca. The Calgary seminar will be held Mar. 16 at the Glenmore Inn and the Lethbridge event will be held Mar. 17 at the Lethbridge Lodge. To register for the Calgary or Lethbridge seminars, call Rose at 403-214-3425 or e-mail secamta@amta.ca. Cost is $20 to help offset the expense of putting on the event.
