EDMONTON, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) is hosting its second annual Northern Golf Fundraiser on June 24 at the Links Golf Course in Spruce Grove, Alta.

The tournament is a Best Ball Scramble with teams of four competing for a variety of prizes. The AMTA says all participants will receive a prize. The tournament will be followed by a barbecue steak dinner at the Links Tournament House.

All carrier and associate members of the AMTA are invited to participate as individuals or teams. Golfers are requested to provide an average personal score so organizers can balance teams that are comprised of individuals. Last year’s tournament involved 22 teams of four.

Individuals who do not golf can still attend the barbecue at a cost of $45. The entry fee for the golf tournament and barbecue is $150. For more information visit www.amta.ca/golfpage.htm#Northern.
