CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) and TRANSCOM are presenting a seminar called Building and Maintaining a Professional Driving Team in Calgary and Lethbridge.

The half-day seminar was recently held in Edmonton, and was very successful, which has prompted the AMTA and TRANSCOM to offer it in Southern Alberta as well. It is designed for managers, dispatchers, human resources leaders and supervisors, and will provide innovative and non-traditional solutions for carriers struggling to staff their fleets.

In addition to examining ways of building a professional driving team, the seminar will explore 15 ways of maintaining that team.

The Lethbridge seminar takes place at the Lethbridge Lodge on Monday, Mar. 8 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Calgary seminar is being held Mar. 9 at the Glenmore Inn in Calgary. It will also take place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Cost of each seminar is $135.
