EDMONTON, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) and TRANSCOM are offering a half-day seminar on Building and Maintaining a Professional Driving Team.

The seminar will be held Jan. 27 at the Delta Convention Inn and will be hosted by TRANSCOM coach and general manager, Roy Craigen. Craigen has 30 years of operational experience in the trucking industry.

Over the past 12 years, Craigen’s TRANSCOM has developed programs and procedures enabling fleets to become world class trucking operations. Craigen will be sharing some of his insight at the seminar, which is designed for managers, dispatchers, supervisors and human resources personnel. The AMTA says the seminar will deliver "eye-opening and non traditional solutions for carriers struggling to staff their fleets."

Cost of the seminar is $135. For more information, visit www.amta.ca/Seminar_Registration.htm or call the AMTA at 403-214-3438.
