And now one from the irony department …
BRANDON, Man. — A truck crash gave a load of cows a frightful look into a crystal ball this weekend, as the cattleliner they were being hauled in hit another tractor-trailer moving hamburger.
According to the Brandon Sun, the two trucks collided on the Trans-Canada Highway about 95 km west of Brandon.
The trailers were torn open when they side-swiped each other, leaving cattle wandering on the highway amid packs of hamburger.
Heavy fog is being blamed for the crash. Neither driver was hurt, but an unknown number of cows were killed or injured from the accident. Some of the surviving heifers refused to get into a new cattleliner, reports the Sun.
