Another Irving Mainway on Mountain Road

MONCTON, N.B. — Ground was broken on Friday by Irving Oil Ltd. in anticipation of the new 24-hour fuel station that will open in November.

The rest stop is slated for the east-side of Mountain Road just north of Trinity Drive. There is already an Irving Mainway just south of Wheeler Boulevard, on the west side of Mountain Road, but people travelling north have to cut across a busy road to get there.

The expectation is that the existing station will be busiest in the morning, when traffic heads into the city, while the new one picks up more customers later in the day, when people go home for the day.
