App released for the iTruckers on the road

DALLAS — Software development firm Applicandy releases its debut app for the trucking industry, helping truck drivers track revenue, monitor deadhead miles, and manage HOS more efficiently.

iLogMiles, a driver’s daily log book application for the iPhone and the iPod touch, is now available on the App Store.

"iLogMiles gives truckers a significant advantage," says Applicandy co-founder Bryan Hinton. "The analytics feature calculates how revenue is earned based on time, miles, and completed loads, enabling you to make more informed decisions about your business."

According to Applicandy, the free version can track duty status records, mileage, and revenue, and can generate motor vehicle inspections and up to five analytics reports.
