OTTAWA, Ont. – Think you run or work for the best fleet across the country? Then get nominating.

Applications are now being accepted for Trucking HR Canada’s second annual Top Fleet Employers program.

“Top Fleet Employers recognizes fleets that are committed to, and demonstrate, best practices in human resources,” said Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada. “They are workplaces which lead by example, and play a key role in helping the trucking industry recruit and retain the employees it needs to ensure a successful future.”

The program rates fleets on areas like: compensation, lifestyle, employee engagement, recruitment and retention. The program’s criteria has been validated by a panel of trucking industry experts and a certified human resource professional. In addition, the program recognizes and considers every fleet occupation.

Online submissions are due by Feb. 27 (you can apply online by clicking here) and hard copy submissions are due March 27.

Last year, the recognized employers in the program included: Bison Transport, Erb Group of Companies, Home Hardware, J&R Hall Transport Inc., Kindersley Transport, Kriska Transportation, Logikor Inc., MacKinnon Transport Inc., SLH Transport, and Transport Freight Systems Ltd.

Trucking HR Canada stresses that there is no limit to the number or size of fleets that can be honoured.
