APTA elects new board at annual general meeting

DIEPPE, N.B. — The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) has a new board in place, following elections at its annual general meeting at Budenell Resorts, P.E.I.

 

Shane Esson has taken over as the association’s new chairperson, accepting the reins from outgoing chair Gord Peddle of D.D. Transport. Esson is general manager of Keltic Transportation based in Moncton, N.B. and has served on the APTA board since 2005.

 

Other members of the Board of Directors include: Jean St. Onge, Midland Transport, vice-chair; Vicki McKibbon, Armour Transportation Systems, secretary/treasurer; and Peddle will serve as past-chair.

 

The new executive also includes: Donnie Jr. Fillmore, Atlantic Pacific Transport; John Doucet, Day and Ross Transportation Group; Vaughn Sturgeon, Warren Transport; Paul Easson, Eassons Transport; Tyson Kelly, Bulk Carriers (PEI); Mark Shannon, Seaboard Liquid Carriers; Jerry O’Neil, Cummins Eastern Canada; Kevin Swan, Parts for Trucks; and Dave Miller, Armour Transportation Systems.
