DIEPPE, N.B. — The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association has announced that its coordinator of projects and policy, Heather MacLean, will be leaving the association to establish a sector council for trucking human resources in her native P.E.I.

“We know that Heather in her new vocation will continue to exhibit the vim, vigour, verve and vitality we have all come to enjoy about her and her diligence and commitment to her work and career,” said Peter Nelson, executive director, APTA. “This is more of a bon voyage we extend to Heather as opposed to a goodbye as we will continue to see and work with Heather on the many committees and councils that we in the industry interact with.”

MacLean had been working with the board of directors and executive of the APTA to identify issues of concern and develop initiatives, projects and coordinate training and events.
