TORONTO, Ont. — Production has commenced at RigMaster Power’s new facility in Olathe, Kan. The second facility opened April 1 and will operate in addition to the Toronto manufacturing facility; increasing the amount of RigMaster Power APU’s produced each year.

“The demand for a quality stand-alone APU like the RigMaster is huge and the opening of this facility has been our number one priority for some time,” said Gary Lisson, general manager for RigMaster Power.

Plans for the U.S. facility began late last year and the new facility will be producing the standard RigMaster unit, which is powered by the Perkins 14HP diesel engine, as well as building all units ordered with the Caterpillar engine option.

RigMaster’s North American parts distribution will also be housed out of this facility and Lisson is encouraged by RigMaster’s growth and its position in the expanding market

“The RigMaster Power product is well known in the industry as a high quality APU. Even in this highly competitive market, the demand for RigMaster Power APU’s continues to grow,” noted Lisson. “The market is on the rise and with the US facility open for business we are poised to meet the demands.”
