Armbro Transport Closes After More Than Five Decades
MISSISSAUGA, ON – After more than half a century in business the trucking company Armbro Transport has closed up.
According to the company’s website the Ontario-based operation was placed into receivership earlier this month.
Its service offerings included truckload, less-than-truckload and other distribution services in Quebec and Ontario with about 170 pieces of equipment.
Armbro had reportedly been suffering from financial problems for some time and took on new leadership around 18 months ago, but competition and an inability to get higher rates led to its demise.
