Arrow Trucks target truckers with open house

MISSISSAUGA – – So what if it’s fall? At Arrow Truck dealers across the continent, they’re still talking about “The Hog Days of Summer.”

On September 22 and 23, all Arrow Truck dealerships hosted open house events to which they invited pretty much everybody in the industry.

There’s free food, daily draws (they’re each giving away two iPads a day!) and visitors get a chance to win a brand new Harley Super-Glide.

Phil Dennie and Joe Gurrieri of Kitchener look over a 1007 Volvo VN 780 with Arrow’s Rob Nusca.

There are three second prizes, ($1,000 Bass Pro Shop gift certificate) and five thirds. Third prize is a $500 fuel card redeemable at any Pilot Flying J.

At the Mississauga Arrow Truck outlet, the shop Thursday was redolent with the smell of Italian veal and Indian buttered chicken as customers moseyed around the inventory and took advantage of open-house bargains.

Assistant Branch Manager Rob Jusca Phil Dennie told todaystrucking.com the open house coincided with a discount on a wide selection of used trucks.
