GUADALAJARA, Mexico — ArvinMeritor is restructuring its relationship with Quimmco, expanding the company’s reach into Mexico.

The restructured joint venture will be a 50/50 partnership focusing on manufacturing and supplying Dirona, Sudisa and Meritor products for medium- and heavy-duty trucks in Mexico and globally.

"We’re enhancing a long-term joint venture by further combining ArvinMeritor’s marketing position and product technology with Quimmco established manufacturing and operations expertise," says Tom Gosnell, senior vice-president of ArvinMeritor and president of the company’s Commercial Vehicle Systems business group.
