ArvinMeritor names new CFO
TROY, Mich. (Mar. 30, 2005) — Truck and automotive component supplier ArvinMeritor has hired former Kmart CFO James Donlon for the same position, the company announced yesterday.
Donlon, 58, was also a former controller of DaimlerChrysler AG’s Chrysler unit. He takes over a position which has been vacant since Carl Soderstrom left ArvinMeritor Dec. 31.
Rakesh Sachdev, the company’s controller and interim chief financial officer since January, will become senior vice-president of corporate strategy once a new controller is named.
Donlon said he was attracted by the international presence of ArvinMeritor and the focus to developing this area.
