Assembly plant tour to highlight TTA meeting

ETOBICOKE, Ont. — The Toronto Trucking Association is scheduled to be touring Chrysler’s Brampton Assembly Plant, in conjunction with its Annual General Meeting on April 12.

This facility is 2.97 million sq.-ft and covers 269 acres, with approximately 2,700 workers employed at the facility. This facility produces approximately 968 units on two shifts and is the only producer of the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum for the world market.

Following the tour, the TTA will be holding its AGM in a room Chrysler has set aside for the association. The cost of the tour is $42.80, but there are only 50 spots available for the tour portion of the day.
