LONDON, Ont. — ATBS Canada continues to round out its management lineup, most recently hiring industry veterans Stan Morris and John Groot to lead sales and marketing efforts.

Morris has been in the trucking industry for 47 years, working for companies such as Taggart Service, Listowel Transport Lines, Sureway Transport and TST Truckload Express. He has an extensive background working with owner/operators, according to ATBS, and promoted the Power to Drive program at TST Truckload Express.

Groot has been in the trucking industry for more than 35 years, working for companies such as Huron Grain which later became Greenway Transfer.  He also worked as an owner/operator and driver for Southwestern Express and later with MacKinnon Transport. He retired from MacKinnon this past spring.

“We are excited to bring the type of experience these two industry veterans represent to ATBS Canada from being behind the wheel to senior positions in a couple of Canada’s most respected companies,” announced ATBS Canada CEO Ray Haight. “Our clients will definitely benefit in their dealings with these two gentlemen.”
