Atlas Polar gives customers a lift
Atlas Polar
Atlas Polar, a Toronto-based supplier of material handling equipment, has recently introduced a longer version of its popular multi-directional Combi-Lift forklift into Canada.
Using a patented fully synchronized steering system, the forklift can drive in all four directions. At the push of a button all three wheels turn, and the Combi-Lift converts into sideways mode. While travelling sideways, the Combi-Lift C9000 forklift is only 101-inches wide and easily fits through narrow doorways with long loads, the company says.
The Combi-Lift C9000 is equipped with an all-wheel drive hydrostatic transmission and retractable mast for manoeuverability in tight warehouses and crowded yards.
The forklift boasts a lifting capacity of 9,000 lbs. at 24-inch load centre, and is powered by a diesel or LP gas powered engine. Standard features include a 13-foot lift height duplex mast, hydraulic oil cooler, full work lights and flashing beacon.
The Combi-Lift C9000 comes standard with a fully enclosed rubber mounted cab, ergonomically designed automotive type controls, and full instrument panel. An adjustable full suspension seat and wipers are also included. Available options include masts up to 24-feet in lift height, a hydraulic fork positioner for mixed length loads, and removable Lift Frame attachment for supporting extra long loads. For added precision and efficiency in narrow aisle work, a dedicated guide rail system can be installed in any warehouse.
