TORONTO, Ont. — The deadline for the 14th annual Owner/operator of the Year award is fast-approaching, so fleets and drivers should send in their nominations immediately.
Nominations must be received at Truck News by June 1. Canadas top owner/operator will be recognized at the Fergus Truck Show July 27. The winner will receive $3,000 cash, a vacation for two valued at up to $2,500 and a diamond ring fit for a champion. They will also receive transportation to and accommodations at the Fergus Truck Show.
Candidates must have a clean driving record and a commitment to safety as well as a track record of community involvement. The Truck News Owner/operator of the Year Award is the longest-running and most prestigious award bestowed upon owner/operators in Canada. It is sponsored by Freightliner, Markel and Goodyear.
