Avaal celebrates holiday season with flare

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Avaal Technology Solutions hosted a Christmas banquet over the weekend that featured a star-studded guest list and an eclectic entertainment line-up.

More than 400 people attended the gala, which was held Dec. 18 at Natraj Banquet Hall in Mississauga. Santa Claus made an appearance, bringing gifts and posing for photos with the children in attendance.

The Master of Ceremonies was Dr. Ranvir Sharda and political guests included Brampton mayor Susan Fennell. MPs Gurbax Malhi and Ruby Dhalla were also on-hand, as were MPP Dr. Kuldip Kular, Brampton Councillor Vicky Dhillon and Progressive Conservative candidates Pam Hundal (provincial) and Parm Gill (federal).

Nachattar Singh Chohan, president of the Indian Trucking Association was also on-hand, as well as a host of media guests.

Avaal president Dara Nagra highlighted the company’s milestones from the past year, including finishing its 55th dispatch course at its Brampton campus, opening a new branch in Vancouver and releasing a new version of the company’s distach software, Avaal Express version 2.0.

Guests were treated to musical entertainment, acrobatics, Bollywood dancers and belly dancing.
