BRAMPTON, Ont. — Avaal Technology has welcomed its 46th batch of graduates from its Dispatch Specialist Course. Graduates from the latest group included Dalvir Gill, Tauquir Ahmad, Davinder Brar, Gurpreet Rajania, Manjit Dhillon, and Sandeep Manhas. The graduation ceremony, held Feb. 14, featured guest speakers Melroy Coelho from TransCore Link Logistics, Manan Gupta from Road Today magazine, and Dr. Ranvir Sharda as Master of Ceremonies. After the ceremony, students and guests were served lunch by Avaal staff and participated in a group photograph session.

The students in Avaal’s Dispatch Specialist Course take part in a four-day program, combining both classroom and hands-on job training to prepare them for their future careers. The course modules introduce techniques to launch and operate small to large scale trucking companies with an emphasis on strategic business management. Key modules include freight matching, route optimization, border crossing, and obtaining freight contracts.

Avaal has also recently announced the opening of a 24-hour Drug and Alcohol Testing Centre fitted with the latest US DOT-compliant technology.

“This facility promises to help streamline the process of maintaining safety and compliance programs in transportation companies,” Avaal officials said in a release. “They will have the ability to send their employees for pre-employment, accident and random drug and alcohol testing at any time of the day or night, throughout the year.”
