VICTORIA, B.C. — The province of B.C. has completed the final 3.5-kilometre portion of the Millstream Connector.

Transportation Minister Judith Reid, says the project will reduce traffic congestion between Meaford and Sooke roads.

“As part of our New Era commitment to restoring sound fiscal management, we have been working hard since taking office to ensure capital projects are managed properly and efficiently,” says Reid. “As a result of that commitment, the Millstream Connector has been finished on time and on budget.”

The connector was scaled back from four to two lanes several years ago, resulting in increased congestion.
