VICTORIA, B.C. — The B.C. government has appointed a Board of Directors to restructure and rebuild the province’s Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB).

Labour Minister Graham Bruce says he personally interviewed people who have experience in restructuring, accounting and worker injuries in hopes the new board can make the WCB more responsive and accountable.

He says he also hopes the speed in which claims are settled will be improved.
