KIRKLAND, Wash. – Move it on over, folks, because b-b-b-b-bad to the bone rocker George Thorogood will be headlining Kenworth’s 18th annual Trucker Appreciation Concert at the 2006 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. March 24. George Thorogood and the Destroyers have racked up several well known hits over their 30-year career including “Bad to the bone,” “Move it on over,” “Get a haircut,” and “American made.” Newcomer Jason Aldean, whose 2005 self-titled debut album has already hit sales of 500,000, is scheduled as the opening act.

Kenworth is sponsoring the performance as a way to thank truckers and the trucking community for their support.

“Kenworth looks forward to offering trucking professionals a special night of musical entertainment with George Thorogood and his band,” said Gary Moore, Kenworth assistant general manager for marketing and sales. “We appreciate all their hard work and dedication to the trucking industry throughout the year.”

Complimentary concert tickets will be available to CDL holders only (limit of two tickets per person). Tickets, while supplies last, will be distributed in the South Hall Lobby Booth No. 2 on both March 23, starting at 1 p.m., and on March 24, starting at 10 a.m.
