MUSCATINE, Iowa — Bridgestone Bandag Tire Solutions (BBTS) has announced price increases in North America of up to 6% for Bandag brand tread rubber products to its franchised dealers. The new pricing is effective immediately.

“The market in 2008 continues to provide us with many challenges that are outside our control, including rising raw material costs and the effects of volatile energy prices on transportation,” said Saul Solomon, president of BBTS.

BBTS previously announced price increases in the US of up to 5% in early May. No increase was announced for the Canadian market at the time.
