B.C. dealer to chair Kenworth council

KIRKLAND, Wash., (April 19, 2005) — Kenworth has named Jim Beiderwieden of Inland Kenworth, Burnaby, B.C. as the new chairman of the truckmaker’s 2005 Dealer Council. Custom Truck Centre’s Brent Leach in Regina, Sask. was the other Canadian that was named a member.

The council consists of leading executives from the nearly 300 Kenworth dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. The council’s goal is to help promote program consistency across the network so that every Kenworth dealership provides a superior level of customer service.

Other members include:

Harry Mamizuka, Bay Area Kenworth, Oakland, Calif.; Bob Mitchell, Kenworth of Birmingham, Birmingham, Ala.; Jay Ellison, French Ellison Truck Center, Pharr, Tex.; John Nichols, Kenworth of Indianapolis, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Gary Mitchell, Kenworth of Pennsylvania, Carlisle, Pa. Kyle Treadway, Kenworth Sales Company, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Each Kenworth Dealer Council member also participates on one of Kenworth’s support councils for parts, service, and the body shop.
