TORONTO, Ont. — Maximizing revenue is all about planning, Ray Haight, CEO of ATBS Canada explains in Part 3 of Becoming a Successful Owner/Operator.

Whenever possible, O/Os should plan pick-ups on Fridays and deliveries on Mondays. Truck maintenance should be done midweek when there are fewer loads available. And family vacations, whenever possible should be planned for the first or second week of a fiscal quarter, when inventory cycles are typically at a low.

These tips and more were shared by Haight in the latest installment of Becoming a Successful Owner/Operator: Understanding and Maximizing Revenue, available free of charge on Trucknews.com.

The 10-part instructional video series is sponsored by Michelin and presented by Trucknews.com.
