Belledune Port Authority gets new appointment

OTTAWA, Ont. — Transport Minister Tony Valeri today yesterday the appointment of Harry H. Williamson of Bathurst, New Brunswick, to the board of directors of the Belledune Port Authority.

“I am pleased that Mr. Williamson has agreed to serve on the board of the Belledune Port Authority,” said Valeri. “His professional experience will be an asset as he assumes his new duties.”

Williamson is currently a partner in the law firm of Robichaud, Godin, Williamson, Theriault & Johnstone in Bathurst, New Brunswick. He holds bachelors’ degrees in arts, education and law from the University of New Brunswick. He was admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 1975 and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1991. Williamson is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and currently serves on the Disciplinary Committees of the Law Society of New Brunswick.
