ELYRIA, Ohio — Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake will be conducting a series of foundation brake training schools in the US this year.

Both new and experienced technicians are invited to take part in the one-day in-class training sessions. The classes cover: foundation brake components, including drum and air brake systems; slack adjusters; brake chambers; shoes and drums; seal installation; and bearing adjustments. The schools also include a half-day of hands-on training, in addition to the classroom sessions.

Bendix officials says cutaways and visual aids enhance the learning experience. Eight sessions will be held between May 21 and Oct. 25 in Huntington, Ind. and Reno, Nev.

The cost of taking part in the school is US$150 per person. All course materials are provided and lunch is included. To register, call 866-610-9709, option 5 or visit www.bendix.com.
