Big Freight boss to lead MTA

WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) has elected Earl Coleman of Big Freight Systems as the association’s new president.

The decision was reached at the association’s board meeting yesterday. Also named to new positions were: Brian Page, Winnipeg Motor Express, first vice-president; Susan Snyder, Searcy Trucking, second vice-president; and Clayton Gording, Reimer Express Lines, past president.

Executive committee members named yesterday include: Tom Payne Jr., Payne Transportation; Norm Blagden, Bison Transport; and Greg Arndt, Jade Transport.
